Colombia in 18 days, 17 nights

• Reception at Riohacha airport and transfer to the hotel.
• In the afternoon visit to Wayuu ranchería.

• Breakfast at the hotel 7:00 a.m.
• Cabo de la Vela, Start 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. (regular shared transfer) we will pass by Uribía (indigenous capital of Colombia) Manaure (largest salt complex in Colombia) through a road in the middle of the desert, there we will have a guided tour to learn about the process of salt extraction. Later we will arrive at Cabo de la Vela to have lunch and spend a nice time enjoying the combination of the desert and the sea. In the afternoon we will go to a typical lodge (ranchería) to have dinner and spend the night in a ranchería in Cama.

• 7:30am breakfast, with eggs to taste, with milk coffee or chocolate and arepa.
• 08:00am We leave to Punta Gallinas passing by Portete and Puerto Nuevo where the boats arrive to Bahia Honda, Bahía Hondita and Pucheo. We will enjoy the beautiful beaches of Taroa where we will have lunch (grouper fish, sierra fish, snapper fish, curbinata fish, barracuda fish, barracuda fish medallions, accompanied with rice, fried plantain, salad and a soft drink. Lunch can be on the road or at Punta Gallina.
• Travel time between the cape and Punta Gallinas is 3 hours.
• Accommodation in bed cabins have private bathroom, toilet, pillow and beedsheets, these cabins have windows facing north where there is a constant breeze, remember that the trip to the high Guajira is an adventure trip, you have acceso to electricity from 5pm to 10pm.
• 07:00pm Dinner is robalo or sierra fish or steak and a soft drink. It's beautiful to see a beautiful sunset and sunrise in the Alta Guajira.

• 7:30 am: Breakfast, with eggs as you like, milk, coffee or chocolate, accompanied with arepa.
• 08:00 am: Departure to Riohacha for lunch at 12:30 pm in Uribía, the former capital of La Guajira department (state).
• 04:00 pm: Arrival in Riohacha.
• Transfer to Santa Marta.
• Accommodation at Arhuaco hotel in Santa Marta.
• Dinner.

• Check out from the hotel at 6:30 a.m. and tour to Tayrona.
• Breakfast with typical fried food and orange juice at the entrance.
• Crossing of the tropical forest, and panoramic tour of the beaches of Cañaveral, Arrecifes, Arenilla and Cabo San Juan.
• Return to accommodation in Camping Castillete in front of the sea.
• Free time to enjoy the swimming pool facilities.

• Boat trip through the lakes of Tarapoto, observation of pink and grey dolphins (In the months of August, September and October the water level of the river has dropped considerably, it is very possible that the entrance to the lakes can not be done, in this case we have alternatives for the observation of dolphins).
