You will find the most richest and exotic gifts of the nature in the world. Thanks to the Amazon river, the longest in the world, is the home for at least 860 birds species, 140 anphibian species, 85 mammals, 147 reptiles and 6.800 plants.

  • Reception at the Leticia airport in charge of our amazonian experience coordinator.
  • Transportation to the Waira hotel located in Leticia and check in.
  • Departure walking towards the port of Leticia (4 blocks).
  • Your first encounter with the great Amazon River, boat ride sighting the imaginary point of the three borders (Colombia-Brazil-Peru).
  • Welcome lunch at El Pirarucu restaurant, floating raft on the river bank. (f you arrive at 2pm or later this lunch will be offered on the last day at the Waira hotel).
  • City tour in Leticia walking through the handicraft shops, the ethnographic museum of the Bank of the Republic, and then walk to the Santander park to listen the concert of thousands of parrots that return to their nests.
  • Free time to enjoy the hotel pool, dinner at the Waira hotel.
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Transfer by road to the Mundo Amazónico Ecological Park.
  • First great encounter with the Mother Forest through a wonderful eco tour of all the ecological stations of the park and its natural trails.
  • Traditional Amazonian lunch.
  • Talk in an indigenous maloca with an ancestral connoisseur “A look from the indigenous eyes”.
  • At the end of the afternoon return to Leticia, time to rest and enjoy the hotel.
  • Dinner and accommodation at the Waira Suite hotel.
  • Breakfast in the hotel.
  • Departure walking towards the port of Leticia (4 blocks).
  • Transfer by speedboat through the river to Puerto Nariño.
  • Visit to the Monkey Island, tour through the trails of the island and interaction with the primates present there.
  • Visit to the Macedonian community. Dance, crafts and ancestral Tikuna culture.
  • Arrival to the municipality of Puerto Nariño known as the ecological manger of Colombia.
  • Lunch and then a walking tour of the municipality of Puerto Nariño.
    Boat tour of the Tarapoto lakes, observation of pink and gray dolphins. (In the months of August, September and October the water level of the river has dropped considerably, it is very possible that the entrance to the lakes cannot be done, in this case we have alternatives for the observation of the dolphins).
  • Return by boat to the city of Leticia (Approx. 1 hour and a half).
  • Return to Leticia, dinner and accommodation at the Waira Suite hotel.
  • Free morning.
  • Depending on the time of the flight, transfer to the airport.

  • This itinerary may present modifications according to weather conditions, always preserving and respecting the scheduled activities, river transfers through the Amazon River will be made in shared boats.
